“I founded Graham A. Allison & Associates to provide a compass that business leaders can use to navigate government entities and programs. We're dedicated to providing our clients with sound advice at the speed of business and delivering competitive advantage through collaborative partnerships between public and private organizations. I would be honored to put my experience, professional network and knowledge of governmental programs and processes to work for you and your enterprise.”

Company background

Graham A. Allison & Associates provides full-service business and economic development consulting to clients with operations or planned expansions in the Lower Midwest. Graham's development expertise in a range of industries, including advanced materials and energy, is complemented by a stellar network of associates in finance, law, engineering, communications and other key disciplines. Together they comprise a one-stop resource for advice, advocacy and execution.

Business development
Recent business development engagements include the commercialization of an advanced materials process and site selection for the company. As part of this company's go-to-market strategy, Graham successfully advocated for the development of a public-private partnership, securing a grant to move the company from the research and development stage to market entry. Able to assist companies with expansions of all sizes, Graham A. Allison & Associates secured a $150,000 grant for an $750,000 Appalachian-region expansion and $100,000 in municipal tax credits to assist one of Ohio's fastest growing-companies in entering new markets. We saved another client $3 million in labor costs for a $40 million manufacturing expansion.

Economic development
As an economic developer, Graham has worked with companies on more than $1 billion in investments, resulting in the creation and retention of more than 10,000 jobs for the  state of Ohio. Graham also served as Ohio’s lead on steel and energy projects and gained experience with the pharmaceutical industry, environmental regulatory processes and consumer advocacy.

International liaison
Graham currently is working with European companies and U.S. state agencies to gain commitments for financial incentives for a major North American industrial investment. Recently, our firm was able to leverage its international business network to help a Midwest-based IT healthcare firm enter the Japanese market. Prior to establishing a consulting practice, Graham served as Ohio's international business liaison for Europe, Canada and South America in the Strategic Business Investment Division at the Ohio Department of Development.

Education
Graham earned his MBA from Franklin University in Columbus, Ohio, and a BA from Ohio Wesleyan University. He also studied at L’Ecole Commerciale de la Chamber de Commerce et d’Industrie de Paris (Advancia) in Paris. He speaks Spanish and French fluently as second languages.

Graham lives with his wife and two children in Hilliard, Ohio.
